We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Providence Newberg Medical Center. This is a full-time night shift position, with a 9 FTE schedule and rotating weekends. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a dedicated group of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients on the Medical Surgical Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- ~ 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a Medical Surgical setting.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
