About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Tech to join our team at Ascension Via Christi St Joseph in Wichita, KS. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic clinical and non-clinical patient care services under the supervision of nursing staff.
  • Aid with patient movement and placement.
  • Assist with personal care and activities of daily living for patients.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Document patient records accurately and maintain patient rooms clean and organized.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • A High School Diploma or GED, or an active CNA Certification.
Preferred Qualifications

We highly prefer candidates with one year of hospital experience.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $38,000 - $52,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
