Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Freight Hauler to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a Vehicle Transport Specialist, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles between locations, ensuring timely delivery and providing excellent customer service.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on location and experience. Additional benefits include competitive pay rates, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport vehicles between locations using Penske's fleet of box trucks and tractors
  • Check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
  • Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 2 years of driving experience
  • 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record
  • CDL Class B license required; CDL Class A license preferred
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
