Ancora Home Health & Hospice LLC is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.

About the Job:

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a Speech Language Pathologist with Ancora Home Health & Hospice LLC, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including those with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Screen, evaluate, and treat patients with quality care and compassion
  • Enhance communication, cognitive-linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills of patients
  • Create plans of care and routinely assess and revise as needed to ensure best patient outcomes
  • Complete tasks in accordance with state and federal regulations and professional guidelines
  • Provide education and instruction to patients and family members
  • Maintain open and ongoing communication with peers to ensure patient needs are met
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of observations and evaluations

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Certification/licensure in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a speech therapist
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Time management skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable automobile
  • Proof of current automobile insurance
  • Criminal background check clearance/fingerprint clearance
  • Current CPR certification

Working Environment:

Works indoors in agency office and patient homes/care facilities; travel to and from patients is required.

Sign-On Bonus: To be paid out on first paycheck with a two-year commitment.
