Job Title: Registered Nurse- Wound Care-PRN

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse- Wound Care-PRN, you will be responsible for coordinating the clinical functions of our Wound Care Center. You will work autonomously to assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate treatment outcomes. Your expertise in advanced wound care modalities, including negative pressure wound therapy, skin substitutes, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, will be essential in providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient care services, including wound assessment, treatment planning, and implementation
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive patient records, including documentation of treatment plans and outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on wound care and management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, as required by the Nevada State Board of Nursing
  • Two years of prior experience in advanced wound care, with a strong preference for experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting
  • Proven expertise in nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
