Radiology Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at a reputable healthcare organization in North Alabama. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy, administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing, evaluating, and testing patients
  • Preparing and positioning patients for imaging
  • Attending to patient needs during imaging procedures
  • Applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices
  • Independently performing or assisting a licensed practitioner in performing procedures
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist's certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Pediatric experience and bilingual skills preferred
