Overview

Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service Expertise: Deliver outstanding customer experiences by being approachable, knowledgeable, and empathetic. Assist customers with their queries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  2. Sales Floor Management: Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing sales floor. Ensure that products are properly displayed, and the store is clean and tidy.
  3. Upselling and Suggestive Selling: Develop a keen understanding of our products and services to effectively upsell and suggest complementary items to customers. This will not only enhance their shopping experience but also contribute to achieving our sales goals.
  4. Brand Ambassador: Champion our brand by promoting our loyalty rewards program and highlighting the exclusive benefits and personalized offers available to our customers. Your enthusiasm and engagement will foster lasting relationships and build a loyal community.
  5. Cash Handling and Operations: Efficiently manage the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a seamless financial flow. Ensure that all cash handling procedures are followed, and the store's financial operations are running smoothly.
  6. Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with your colleagues to ensure smooth store operations. Be prepared to lend a hand wherever needed, and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
  8. Facility Maintenance: Take pride in maintaining a clean and inviting store. This includes cleaning restrooms, ensuring the inside and outside of the store are tidy, emptying trash bins, and refilling window washing stations.
  9. Environmental Stewardship: Actively participate in keeping our outdoor space clean and welcoming. Contribute to a positive environmental impact and a great customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older (21 in certain states). Ensure you meet the age requirement for your location.
  • Availability: Be prepared to work weekends and holidays, embracing the full rhythm of retail.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English effectively.
  • Math Proficiency: Demonstrate basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical Ability: Be capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Pass a pre-employment drug screen and undergo a criminal history background check.
  • Personality Traits: Possess a friendly demeanor, be personable, and have a knack for making people feel welcome. Demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and responsibility.
  • Flexibility: Be adaptable and ready to take on a variety of tasks in our fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is appreciated, but not required. We believe in learning on the job.
