Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Rad Tech

Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Rad Tech, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of diagnostic images. You will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Position patients correctly for imaging procedures, using techniques to minimize discomfort and maximize image quality
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of diagnostic images, ensuring they meet the required standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in Diagnostic Imaging
  • Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability in new environments
