Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Obstetric Technician to join our team at Atrium Health. As a key member of the Labor and Delivery Unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with functions performed within the Labor and Delivery Unit, including scrub technician duties in vaginal and cesarean section deliveries.
  • Provide additional support to the nursing staff through the collection of data, such as vital signs and intake/output.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required.
  • Current BCLS certification, renewed annually.
  • One year of experience preferred.
