Job Summary

ProMedica is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Wayne. As a staff LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supervising nursing personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing personnel to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify resident needs and make recommendations for care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience in gerontological nursing, including experience with dementia populations.
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require sitting, standing, walking, bending, and squatting for prolonged periods.
