We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our billing and collections efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective collections strategies, managing our billing process, and ensuring timely payment from customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement collections strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt
- Manage the billing process, including creating and sending invoices, tracking payments, and resolving billing issues
- Collaborate with Branch Managers and the Communication Center Manager to analyze accounts receivable reports and make recommendations for write-offs and other actions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable and collections
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers, Branch Managers, and other stakeholders
- 3+ years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Lead
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and maximize performance while remaining customer-focused
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn multiple web-based software programs necessary to the essential job functions and cross-department communications
- Strong data entry skills and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to be a positive, up-beat, team-player
- Concern for helping people and an aptitude for making people feel important and valued
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
