As a Clinical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in facilitating an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, ensuring efficient unit operations, and promoting a positive work environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois, BLS certification, and a baccalaureate degree from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent experience. A minimum of two years' clinical experience in the area of clinical specialty is required, with preference given to those with specialty certification or additional clinical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate unit operations on a shift basis, adhering to policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate unit-based staffing assignments on a shift basis to achieve high-quality and cost-effective care.
  • DIRECTLY contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives, including participation in unit/departmental or hospital-wide committees/task forces.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, significant others, and staff regarding nursing care.
  • Implement appropriate action plans to provide safe, quality, and efficient care.
  • Ensure the safety and security of patients, significant others, and staff.
  • Provide direct patient care, taking into consideration the unique needs and preferences of each individual.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure reflects the competitive compensation package offered by Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, which includes tuition reimbursement, loan forgiveness, 401(k) matching, and lifecycle benefits.
