We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our team at River Crossing YMCA.

Job Summary

The Assistant Toddler Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that encourages the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a safe and engaging environment for children
  • Lead age-appropriate activities and programs
  • Ensure compliance with state and YMCA guidelines for child safety and well-being
  • Build strong relationships with parents and guardians

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working with children
  • High school graduate; college credits in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen

Salary and Hours

$15.50 - $17 per hour; Monday - Friday, 10:30am-4:00pm (Part Time)
