As a key player in our organization, the 2nd Shift Shipping Supervisor will oversee the workflow and processes within the shipping department, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Position Summary
The Shipping Supervisor for the 2nd shift is tasked with directing the daily operations of the shipping team, monitoring employee performance, and ensuring the completion of all shipping tasks at the end of the shift. This role is vital for maintaining a seamless transition between shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the activities and workflow of the 2nd shift shipping team.
  • Ensure all shipments are processed and shipping documentation is finalized.
  • Communicate essential information to management and the incoming shift.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Facilitate safety training for all shipping personnel.
  • Perform regular inspections of the shipping area to maintain organization and safety standards.
  • Assist with shipping projects, including the installation of racking systems and process improvements.
  • Prepare the shipping area for the incoming shift.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated wage range for this position is between $22.70 and $23.70 per hour. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, life insurance options, paid time off, and various voluntary coverage options.
