Position Overview:
We are seeking a committed individual to serve as the Pediatric Residency Program Director. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of pediatric education and ensuring the highest standards of training for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to ACGME and institutional standards
- Oversee the comprehensive management of the residency training program
- Promote a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and professional growth
- Administer educational initiatives and curriculum development for resident physicians
- Collaborate with the department Chair regarding faculty recruitment and assessments
- Support and monitor faculty and resident projects across various domains
- Complete essential documentation for program accreditation
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in an academic faculty role
- Board Certification is required
- Possession of an active medical license in Georgia or eligibility
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
