Overview

The Electrical Operations Manager is essential to the success and efficiency of our organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems within our facilities. The ideal candidate will lead a team of electricians, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor electrical conditions through preventive maintenance and inspections.
  • Ensure all plant electrical systems meet applicable codes and regulations.
  • Plan and schedule electrical projects throughout the year, assisting in budget development and management.
  • Record and analyze data, initiating work orders as necessary.
  • Optimize and maintain electrical components to enhance plant operations.
  • Promote upgrades and new features to improve performance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive plant reports.
  • Design and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Authorize and schedule routine contract work, ensuring effective cost control.
  • Conduct follow-up inspections post-repair and installation.
  • Provide technical expertise and ensure adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in industrial process systems or equivalent education.
  • Strong electrical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
  • Ability to meet on-call responsibilities for a 24/7 operation.
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings including physical and background checks.
