The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our team. This opportunity allows a RN to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

About the Role

As a Travel RN, you will care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. You will be responsible for the coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education, and various other nursing interventions. You may serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel that are within the job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competence level of the delegate.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and practices
* Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
* Assess and document resident information, including medical history, medications, and progress notes
* Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident

Requirements

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
