Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of employees during shifts, ensuring that tasks are delegated and completed efficiently.
    • Provide guidance and training to new employees to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and timeliness.
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control
    • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and controlling labor costs.
    • Identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to achieve cost savings.
  • Sanitation and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly sanitized and maintained.
    • Follow proper safety procedures, including knife handling and kitchen equipment operation.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving
    • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers to resolve issues and address concerns.
    • Identify and address potential problems before they become major issues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
    • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Certifications and Training
    • Food safety certification required.
    • Ability to obtain TSA background check clearance.
