Job Summary:

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for the coordination of classroom operations, including the implementation of our proprietary literacy-based curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate classroom operations, including the implementation of our proprietary curriculum
  • Develop and implement instructional plans that meet the needs of students
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Complies with all company and state-specific standards and maintains validation of required credentials for the position
  • Complies with all state-specific education requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field
  • Associate degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field
  • High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of experience with children
