About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team at GM Financial. As a key member of our Economic Risk and Residual Management team, you will play a critical role in helping decision makers navigate economic risks and manage the lease portfolio lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of data-driven stress testing models.
  • Conduct research and analysis to quantify the impact of economic, legal, and industry factors on portfolio performance.
  • Develop and maintain various databases, including economic series and databases.
  • Apply advanced quantitative and analytical skills to improve econometric stress testing models and provide insightful interpretation of market performance.
  • Summarize, report, and present findings to internal clients and interact with other departments to achieve company objectives.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research, or similar quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in modeling with 1+ years of stress testing; extensive experience presenting highly complex analysis to upper management.
