As a Quality and Safety Manager at Amentum, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met in our operations. This position requires a strong background in quality assurance and control, with a focus on monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve products, services, and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality tests to identify areas for improvement and ensure standards and safety regulations are observed.
- Collaborate with management to address and evaluate issues and proposed solutions, and document activities creating audit reports.
- Provide recommendations for improvements, training materials, and operating manuals to enhance quality and safety.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality requirements, analyze audit outcomes, and carry out appropriate corrective procedures.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in quality assurance and extensive quality assurance or control experience.
- Three (3) years' experience required in a maintenance or training position and three (3) years' experience must be directly related to Naval systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Management or business-related discipline required.
- Top Secret Security Clearance Required. US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a United States Top Secret Security Clearance.
- S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N experience preferred.
