Job Description:

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Provide accurate and efficient service to customers, including answering questions and resolving issues
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and inventory levels
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy practices and procedures
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
