Join the esteemed Atlantis Casino Resort Spa team We are currently seeking applications for the position of Security Guard.
The Security Guard I plays a crucial role in upholding public safety, enforcing regulations, and safeguarding guests, team members, property, and assets.
Shift:
Varies
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security of property and assets.
- Stay vigilant for unauthorized individuals, underage persons, and report any unusual incidents to the Assistant Security Shift Manager or higher.
- Provide escort services for cash transactions and act as a runner for gaming operations.
- Gain familiarity with all security devices and procedures.
- Engage independently in processes and transactions impacting casino-related departments.
- Serve as an ambassador for Atlantis, offering public relations and information services for the property.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
While executing the responsibilities of this role, the employee is expected to stand, walk, use hands for handling objects, reach with arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
Qualifications:- State of Nevada Gaming Permit Required.
- State of Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card Required.
- CPR, AED, & First Aid certification preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with staff, management, guests, and local authorities.
- Capacity to perform under high-pressure situations.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Nevada Driver's License preferred.
- Must comply with grooming standards, with no visible tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair color.
