Canine Stylist

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of furry friends, ensuring they receive top-notch care and attention. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for grooming and styling pets according to their owners' instructions or standard grooming styles.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners' instructions or standard grooming styles.
• Trimming pets' nails, brushing their teeth, and cleaning their ears.
• Accommodating special requests that pet owners may have.
• Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process.
• Routinely cleaning work areas.
• Recommending suitable products to pet owners.
• Answering any questions clients may have with a friendly attitude.
• Keeping the receptionist informed about pets that are ready for pick-up.

• Professional grooming experience is required.
• A professional manner at all times.
• The ability to work under pressure while still following proper procedure.
• Time management skills, patience, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to operate a phone, computer, and learn facility software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with animal behavior, body posture, and hair textures.
• Must be a pet fanatic – pets are part of our family.
