Position Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified Travel Nurse RN to provide exceptional care in our Skilled Nursing units. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and requires a dedicated professional.

Certification Requirements
  • Illinois License: Required
  • CPR Certification: Required
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality patient care by executing treatments and procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Monitor patients closely and report any adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
  • Administer medications as permitted by policy, licensure, and the State Practice Act.
  • Respond promptly and safely to patient requests, communicating significant observations to the RN.
  • Exhibit knowledge of the patient's care plan and provide care safely within established standards.
  • Contribute to the planning of patient care by offering insights to the RN and assisting in the implementation of care plans.
  • Understand and adhere to hospital and nursing policies.
  • Recognize emergency situations and initiate appropriate nursing measures within the scope of practice.
  • Educate patients on self-care based on the teaching plan and RN's guidance.
  • Document all aspects of patient care effectively.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an LPN
  • Current Illinois Nursing License
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza
Work Schedule
  • One shift per week
  • Schedule: 7 PM to 7:30 AM
