Speech Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at Apple Speech And Educational Services, Inc.

About Us: As a therapist-owned private practice, we prioritize employee well-being and flexibility. Our SLPA will work in various settings, including home visits, libraries, clinics, daycares, and schools, providing early intervention services to children ages birth-21.

Job Summary: Under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will assist in delivering Speech-Language Therapy services. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist SLPs in providing individualized therapy sessions to children with communication disorders
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with SLPs and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress
• Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to promote client success and engagement

Requirements:

• Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree in Communicative Disorders or related field
• California State Speech license
• 100 Clinical Clock hours
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency highly desirable
• Ability to travel between clients within designated areas (San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita, Antelope Valleys)

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
