Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in a Contract position. The successful candidate will provide safe, competent, and quality care to patients in a Medical Surgical Hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care by incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care and the nursing process.
  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills to patient care management.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
  • Prioritize patient care, including teaching, rounding, coaching, and planning for after-hospital care, delegating to others as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care, transition of care, promotion of health, and prevention of disease.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, family, and the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team.
  • Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing, demonstrating effective allocation of material resources.
Requirements
  • NYS RN License
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Tele and Ventilator experience
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience
  • 1 year travel experience for Travel positions
  • EPIC experience highly preferred
