Hospitalist Physician

Physician Job Summary

Location: Marathon and Tavernier, FL

Salary Range: $217.50 - $240.00 per hour, depending on shift schedule and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and performing procedures.
Collaborate with nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient department operation and patient satisfaction.

Requirements:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with emergency department experience.
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Georgia.
DEA certification and controlled substance registration.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency department.
Proficiency in performing emergency procedures, including intubation, central line placement, and trauma management.
Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions.
Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
