About the Role

EC Consulting NY LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Arborist Consultant to join our team. As an Arborist Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our environmental conservation efforts, working closely with our clients to provide expert tree care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tree Inspections and Inventories: Conduct thorough tree inspections to identify potential issues and develop comprehensive tree inventories.
  • Arborist Reports and Recommendations: Prepare and compile detailed Arborist reports, providing actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Client Communication and Support: Communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates and support throughout the tree care process.
  • Crew Management and Oversight: Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of assigned client crews, ensuring efficient and effective tree care services.
  • Permitting and Compliance: Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with regulations, including those related to forestry and environmental conservation.
  • Audit and Quality Control: Conduct regular audits to ensure quality control and adherence to company standards.
  • Client Relations and Negotiations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, negotiating and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Public Relations and Community Outreach: Promote and maintain good public relations, engaging with the community to promote our services and values.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Minimum of a two-year degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Forestry, or a related natural resources field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Certifications: ISA Certification (required) and other relevant certifications.
  • Work Schedule and Travel: Flexible work schedule and willingness to travel, with a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently.
