We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex MRI procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including MRI exams, utilizing computerized diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Assist radiologists in invasive and biopsy-type procedures, utilizing MRI equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
- Coordinate and prioritize procedures during the workday to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
- Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered in the billing system.
- Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiological Sciences or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a clinical imaging setting highly preferred.
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT preferred.
- Current state licensure required.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) required.
