Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team at Northside Hospital Atlanta. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various types of imaging equipment, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable X-ray units.
  • Position patients for optimal image quality and ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Develop and process radiographs, including X-rays and fluoroscopic images.
  • Assist with special procedures, such as angiography and fluoroscopy.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and imaging results.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography (R).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, working 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work two major holidays and one minor holiday per year.
