Position Overview and Purpose

An Inventory Control Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting with stock taking, monitoring inventory, and performing inventory control responsibilities to ensure the coordination of incoming and outgoing products.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • Update and review all inspections and corrected inventories to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform scheduled cycle counts by reviewing documentation and verifying against perpetual stock in inventory to identify discrepancies.
  • Generate reports and documentation to research failure activity, including missing stock, unscheduled product moves, and non-executed scheduled product moves.
  • Update inventory based on research findings by entering data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) following Arcadia's policies and procedures.
  • Generate follow-up reports to verify the accuracy of adjustments and ensure compliance.
  • Research customer claims and participate in scheduled audits by counting, researching, adjusting, and generating reports.
  • Verify item set-up and integrity in dimensions, code dating, and UPCs, and evaluate set-up and slotting to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Analyze inventory imbalances through research and physical checks to improve inventory integrity and identify process improvements.
  • Print and purge monthly master lot reports and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Supply all lot information on cut orders and audit product availability error reports.
  • Comply with and ensure compliance with Company policies and safety procedures, and monitor automation equipment and controls to ensure proper inventory levels and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-3 years of warehouse inventory-related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Knowledge of cataloguing inventory techniques and packaging of goods.
  • Basic technological knowledge and the ability to operate a PC.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with other departments of the organization.
  • A solid work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
