Job Description

Summary/Objective:
The Warehouse Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager. This position is essential for managing the tasks of personnel involved in the handling, transportation, storage, and loading of materials and products using various methods including conveyors and industrial trucks.


Key Responsibilities:
To excel in this role, the individual must effectively manage the following duties:

  • Oversee and coordinate warehouse staff to optimize their productivity while meeting production, quality, sanitation, and customer service standards.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of forklifts and promptly report any discrepancies to the supervisor or manager.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained in accordance with company protocols.
  • Collaborate with management to facilitate product flow and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Enforce work schedules and estimate labor hours necessary for the successful completion of daily tasks.
  • Monitor compliance of assigned teams with operational standards and initiatives.
  • Engage in recommending Kaizen activities aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Perform the duties of supervised workers when necessary or as assigned.
  • Assist in safeguarding the warehouse premises.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety and cleanliness, ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Execute responsibilities in alignment with the organization's policies and safety guidelines.
  • Meet performance goals, train employees, direct workflow, address complaints, and resolve minor issues with management support.
