Job Summary
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a RN, you will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, collaborating with residents and families, and working with other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct resident assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote resident health and well-being
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction
Requirements
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
