Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the patient care team, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Perform age-specific physical, psychological, and social assessments, formulating nursing diagnoses and developing a plan of care that meets the individual needs of each patient.
  • Implement a plan of care or care pathway, prioritizing and timely, to provide individualized care for each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring seamless care transitions and coordination.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices, improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, such as PALS or NRP.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
