The Marketplace Coffee Shop at La Quinta Resort and Club is seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as Food and Beverage Supervisor. This role requires a proactive solution seeker who leads by example, encourages and engages team members, and ensures the effective and efficient operation of all facets of the Food and Beverage operation.
Key Responsibilities
• Attend weekly meetings to relay information about upcoming events to staff under supervision
• Provide information about capabilities and programs to other departments and clients or potential clients
• Respond to needs and requests of guests and potential guests
• Ensure implementation and maintenance of standards of food, beverage, and service quality commensurate with a first-class operation
• Implement effective cost controls for food, beverage, and labor
• Utilize systems for inventory, receiving, and product utilization (product cost)
• Lead by following standards of productivity for food and beverage personnel
• Create a comfortable atmosphere to encourage committed and loyal employees
• Assist with hiring and training programs for food and beverage personnel
• Assist in other Food and Beverage outlets as needed

Requirements
Previous experience in Food and Beverage and hospitality preferred. Compensation range: $19.00/Hr. - $19.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
