Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a highly skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a dynamic and challenging environment. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to adult patients in the ICU, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve lung function and overall health.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce errors.
Requirements
  • Current RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • At least 2 years of experience in adult critical care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
