Responsibilities:

We are seeking Registered Nurses to become part of our Community Regional Medical Cardiac Progressive Care team. This unit is our largest inpatient area, featuring 64 monitored beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:3 or 1:4, depending on patient acuity, focusing on moderate to high acuity cardiac patients. With a high turnover of admissions and discharges, you should be a skilled problem solver with outstanding communication abilities and a keen eye for detail, all while delivering exceptional patient care.

In this dynamic and collaborative environment, you will encounter a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgery, step-down patients, and post-procedure cases. Given the advanced techniques and varied cases you will experience, you should be a proactive team player eager to learn and contribute to the efforts of this close-knit team.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required
  • Current California Registered Nurse license is mandatory
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
