Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team at Chaparral Medical Group. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including those affecting the small intestine, pancreas, bile ducts, liver, colon, and rectum.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, examine patients, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans to manage patient conditions.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures, including tumor extraction without surgery.
  • Document patient information, update charts, and communicate with other healthcare staff as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in gastroenterology.
Requirements
  • Active California Medical License (M.D. or D.O.)
  • Board Eligible/Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Current BLS Certification
  • CPR Card (Adult, Child, and Infant)
  • Medi-Care & Medi-Cal Provider
