Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced EMDR therapist to join our team at TheraCorp Behavioral Health - Jamesburg & Fairfield.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $85,000 yearly, depending on experience, and provides the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and family counseling services using EMDR and other trauma-informed modalities.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that address each client's unique needs, working collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure seamless communication and coordinated care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in EMDR therapy, ensuring the highest quality care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, in accordance with TheraCorp policies and state/federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Licensed mental health professional with experience in trauma and EMDR therapy.
  • Strong therapeutic skills, including proficiency in EMDR protocols and complementary trauma-focused approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing client needs and collaborating with colleagues.
