About the Role

The Personal Care Specialist role at Ohio's Hospice is a vital part of our team, ensuring patients receive the highest quality care and support. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Monitoring patient conditions and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.

Requirements

  • A State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
  • One year of experience in hospice care or a related field.
  • Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime, or inclement weather.
