The Christman Company is a top-ranked ENR General Contractor seeking a dedicated Commercial Construction Director to lead and manage large-scale commercial construction projects in the greater DC Metro region. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and business growth.

About the Role
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and risk management activities
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and quality control processes
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including owners, contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction leadership roles
- Proven track record of successful project delivery, risk management, and team leadership
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing project requirements

Compensation
- Salary range: $90,000 - $136,000 per year

Work Environment
The majority of work is completed outside at the construction site and in an office trailer. The position requires wearing protective equipment, exposure to loud noises, and varying temperatures and conditions.
