Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to meet the unique needs of our residents. Your expertise and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
