POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is fully responsible for the successful and profitable management of a Firehouse Subs establishment while ensuring compliance with all company standards and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the restaurant operates in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including health codes, wage laws, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA, and any other relevant regulations necessary for lawful business operations.
Demonstrate knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently achieve high standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness while fostering the Firehouse Subs "culture" of a cheerful and enjoyable work environment, aligned with the brand's beliefs and values to support its mission and vision.
Ensure the restaurant's profitability by managing food costs, labor, controllables, utilities, and driving sales growth within established guidelines.
Coordinate and execute current operational strategies and company initiatives effectively and profitably.
Responsible for the appropriate staffing of the restaurant with qualified personnel and ensuring that employees receive proper training and development.
Accountable for the ongoing training and development of the restaurant's Assistant Manager and Shift Managers.
Actively engage in Local Restaurant Marketing within the community.
Implement and advocate for all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
Ensure that all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
Maintain awareness and involvement in community activities to leverage sales and public relations opportunities.
Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner regarding any issues that may impact business operations.
Maintain restaurant equipment in optimal working condition and promptly report any issues to the Owner.
Must be able to work on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Owner.
COMPENSATION:
$50,000 - $60,000 per year
