We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic psychological counseling to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' psychological status and provide appropriate interventions and treatments.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other team members to provide comprehensive psychological therapy for patients.
- Refer patients to other disciplines for consultation and evaluations as indicated.
- Provide psychological expertise and education to patients, families, and supporting providers involved in patient treatment plans.
- Partner with other disciplines as a resource.
- Communicate complex/sensitive information to patients and medical teams.
- Administer and interpret psychological tests used for diagnosing mental and personality disorders and differentiating between organic and functional cases of behavior disorders.
- Licensed Psychologist required.
- Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) required.
