Position Summary

A Loader Operator plays a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of loaders, responsible for moving, loading, and managing materials across various locations. This position demands precision, adherence to safety protocols, and effective collaboration with team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate loaders safely to handle metal and wood materials.
  • Sort and manage materials to ensure accurate loading and transportation.
  • Navigate loaders in confined spaces and diverse terrains.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles.
  • Transport materials to specified locations according to directives.
  • Conduct daily inspections of loaders to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
  • Report mechanical issues or required repairs to the maintenance team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of heavy machinery.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Physical strength and agility to perform basic maintenance tasks, such as connecting and disconnecting machinery.
