Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our oral surgery department.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to our oral surgery team
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment
  • Take X-rays and enter patient treatment plans with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Present cases to patients and educate them on insurance benefits and treatment options
  • Perform temporary crowns and bridges, and pack cord as needed
  • Assist with daily office operations and provide support to the dentist as required

Requirements:

  • Expanded functions and radiography certifications
  • Minimum of one year of oral surgery experience with sedation
  • Ability to travel as required
