Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a RN Fellowship in Emergency Medicine. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emergent/urgent patient care under the direction of a physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner and/or registered nurse.
  • Coordinate the flow of patients in the department to optimize throughput and keep patients informed of delays.
  • Observe patients and notify the provider and/or RN immediately if a patient appears to be in distress.
  • Prepare patients for examination, assist during examination, and maintain exam and treatment rooms and other areas.
  • Insert Foley catheters, perform complex splinting, and perform venipuncture for the purpose of drawing blood or inserting a saline lock.
Requirements
  • Emergency Medical Technician certification
  • Certified Medical Assistant certification
  • Registered Medical Assistant certification
  • Licensed Practical Nurse licensure
  • EMT-Paramedic certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
