Job Title: Graphic Design Specialist

Join The Pennington School team as a Graphic Design Specialist, responsible for creating engaging visual content to support the school's marketing and communications efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a wide range of visual materials, including marketing materials, publications, and digital content.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to develop and implement visual branding strategies.
  • Work closely with the Advancement office to create promotional materials for events and campaigns.
  • Design and maintain the school's visual identity, including logos, typography, and color schemes.
  • Develop and implement social media graphics and content to engage with the school community.
  • Provide design support for School events, including Convocation, Commencement, and theatrical productions.
  • Assist with photography and videography projects as needed.
  • Develop and maintain the school's brand guidelines and style manual.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a school or agency setting.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to prioritize projects.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread printer's proofs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Work Environment:

The Graphic Design Specialist will work in a fast-paced office environment on a 55-acre campus. The ability to occasionally lift files, print materials, and storage boxes, walk up and down stairs, and continually use computers and related office equipment is required.

This is a full-time position, and the candidate must be available for occasional weekend and evening work as needed for School events and projects outside of normal work hours.
