Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. As an LPN, you will work under the clinical guidance of Registered Nurses to deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the assessment of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions, and to develop individual treatment plans in collaboration with registered nurses, physicians, and correctional officers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the assessment of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions
* Develop individual treatment plans in collaboration with registered nurses, physicians, and correctional officers
* Implement medical plans through administering medications and interventions as per provider instructions
* Document nursing encounters, patient response, effectiveness, complications, etc., and communicate information to supervisory personnel and physicians

Requirements:

* Current, unrestricted STATE Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License
* Current CPR Certification
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
* Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred
